Previously, I took a diploma in Mass Communications where I majored in film production. Aside from film, I also have an ardent interest in politics, history and sociology which are the topics that I am currently studying.

SearchAsia SingaporeI was interning full time at Searchasia for 3 months during my semester break and am currently still doing a part time internship with them.
There are various industries in Searchasia and I am part of the Retail and Marketing team. As an intern, my primary job is to source for suitable candidates for our clients according to their requests and expectations. Aside from sourcing, I am also responsible for contacting the candidates and liaising between the client, candidate and my supervisor (who is a senior consultant). My job scope also includes administrative work such as collating information, organising our current list of candidates and even helping the candidates vet through their resumes.
Production Assistant Aug 2018 - Sep 2019
Boku Films SingaporeDuring my time at Boku, I was an office intern as well as a production assistant on set. This allowed me to really delve into both sides of production, a role behind the scenes (more into research/paperwork) and a role on set (more active).
I had the opportunity to work closely with the producers, assistant director and the director himself. Before production, most of my time was dedicated to doing research for the upcoming film, which was set in the 1970s. Hence, a large part of my internship required sourcing for sources and information online as well as going to the library for more restricted sources. I was also part of the auditions and wardrobe fittings.
On set, my role was extremely diverse. The official job title given to me was Directors Team Assistant yet I had the chance to interact with every department and helped out any way I could. We Are The Furballs SingaporeI was a part time worker at the cafe, We Are The Furballs.
My job scope includes:
- Training new staff
- Explaining terms and regulations to customers
- Answering queries and taking reservations via phone calls/emails/social media

- Taking care of the dogs well-being
- Serving food and drinks, taking orders
- Using the POS system and closing the cash register

When I was working at SearchAsia (May 2021 - Present), I demonstrated the Communicating skill when I was in charge of poaching candidates. To take initiative, I proactively created an excel sheet for the team to shortlist our candidates and ensure we did not cross each other. As a result, I managed to improve efficiency of our team and overall recruitment search.
Production Assistant @ Boku Films
When I was working at Boku Films (Aug 2018 - Sep 2019), I demonstrated the Research skill when I was tasked to do research for a film set in the 1970s. To tackle this challenge, I proactively took the research offline and visited the libraries to source for more reliable and restricted sources. As a result, I managed to achieve better research results with better examples to give the production team.

When I was working at We Are The Furballs (Jan 2014 - Jan 2021), I demonstrated the Customer Service skill when I was in charge of engaging customers and ensuring quality service. To improve the situation, I proactively approached each customer and took the time to talk to them about the cafe and asked about their experience/expectations. As a result, I managed to positively affect the reviews that were left on our social media pages.

When I was working at Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Apr 2016 - Apr 2019), I demonstrated the Digital Marketing skill when I was responsible for my marketing project. To tackle this challenge, I proactively created digital media content and even opened an Instagram account to pitch for the project. As a result, I managed to achieve a distinction for the project.
