I am currently a year 2 Mathematical Science undergraduate in Nanyang Technological University. I am interested in cyber security, films and design. In my free time, I love to dance and play musical instruments such as the piano and ukulele. I am looking to be in the IT sector upon graduation and to join a company where I can fully utilise my skill set which is well suited for roles that concentrate on webpage developing and penetration testing.

Bubble Tea Service Crew Feb 2020 - Jul 2020
Tea Tree Cafe SingaporeAt Tea Tree Cafe, I was trained to do a variety of tasks such as the preparation of traditional chinese desserts, cold desserts such as jelly bowls, waffles and of course the making of bubble tea. It was a really interesting experience because not only did I get to learn how to interact with customers and delivery riders, but i also got to learn how to cook and serve the various dishes offered at the cafe from scratch. Furthermore, I had the chance to try stock taking for the shop as we had a weekly stock up.

I learnt more about mental wellness and how to better manage my emotions, which i find is very important.
Introduction to Climate Change and Health (Environmental Science) May 2021 - May 2021
Yale university SingaporeI completed a Mass Open Online Course (MOOC) course on climate change and its impacts on not just the Earth, but the population living on Earth as well. It made me think more about how my small actions can impact the environment and influence the people around me as well. Overall, this course made me reflect and be more aware of global environmental issues that Singapore does not face.
Moral Foundations of Politics (Political Science) Jun 2021 - Jun 2021
Yale university SingaporeI completed a Mass Open Online Course (MOOC) course on the moral foundations of politics. Initially I was hesitant about doing this course because I am not a big fan of politics. However, this course exceeded my expectations and more, as it covered the different enlightenment thinkers of both the past and present, which was really insightful as I got to think about how these values and morals from many years ago were passed down to our age and time.

Nanyang Technological University SingaporeIn the study of Mathematical Sciences, we cover not just mathematics but we also get to have a go at programming. Mainly, we learn how to understand and prove mathematical theorems and how to apply them in real life contexts. Studying this course has honed my analytical and problem solving skills.

When I was working at Tea Tree Cafe (Feb 2020 - Jul 2020), I demonstrated the Analytical Skills skill when I was in charge of solving issues related to customer and stock relations . To resolve the issue, I proactively spoke to both parties of the issue to understand the situation. As a result, I managed to improve efficiency Both sides managed to reach an agreeable stage and issue was resolved peacefully.
