A 2nd year undergraduate majoring in Psychology with work experience in early childhood. I am very interested in the organizational psychology and team processes. During my free time, I enjoy reading self-help books and webtoon novels. I am looking to be in the HR sector upon graduation and to join a company that can fully utilize my skill set which is very well-versed for roles that require versatility and soft skills.

To tackle this challenge, I proactively instructed the children to pair up and hold each others hands in order to not get lost. I also worked together with my assistant teacher and Chinese teacher to divide and guide the active children ourselves. As a result, I managed to complete the excursion without any accidents. When I was working at ELLYSAGE LLP (Aug 2015 - Feb 2016), I demonstrated the Creative Direction skill when I was tasked to do a two-video series for two makeup looks. To tackle this challenge, I proactively sourced out different concepts to produce the video through research on beauty vloggers on YouTube and tested different lightings for the video production. I also shot a pilot video as a test to assess if the video style was adequate. As a result, I managed to complete the two-video series which garnered over 2,000 videos collectively.

When I was working at Nanyang Technological University (Aug 2020 - Present), I demonstrated the Psychological Testing skill when I was part of a group for a module on psychological testing . To take initiative, I proactively applied my knowledge learned during the lessons to our group project by researching literature reviews on our constructs and created items together with my group members for our scale . As a result, I managed to complete the psychological test and presentation and did well with my group members.

When I was working at Nanyang Technological University (Aug 2020 - Present), I demonstrated the Research Design skill when I was tasked to do preparations for the regular graded quizzes for the module on research design and data analytics in psychology . To tackle this challenge, I proactively reviewed previous lectures and worked on review and tutorial exercises repeatedly to understand the concepts of various statistical tests such as ANOVA and regression. As a result, I managed to strengthen my level of understanding pertaining to the foundation of research design and statistical concepts and did fairly well on the graded quizzes.

To take initiative, I proactively suggested ideas and concepts we could utilize while listening to others feedback. There was a disagreement with a teammate over whether to place a specific item into our project which I resolved by convincing my teammate that it would provide added value and uniqueness to our project. We distributed the work evenly among us, and I sought to help out my other groupmates with miscellaneous tasks.As a result, I managed to achieve a good grade for that project together with my groupmates.

When I was working at Nanyang Technological University (Aug 2020 - Present), I demonstrated the Organizational Behavior skill when I was part of a group project for my module on organizational behaviour. We were tasked on analyzing a case provided and apply the necessary key frameworks of organizational behaviour in order to assess the case and critique it. To tackle this challenge, I proactively applied knowledge gained from the lessons on the types of leadership styles that were applicable for our assigned case and summarized the key points through a short video informative portion in the group video presentation. As a result, I managed to complete the project with my groupmates and achieved a good grade and received a compliment from the professor.
