Summary
I am a curious person, I like questions- asking and being asked. I enjoy thinking about various facets of a task/issue at hand- be it at work or at home. I am a heavy consumer of technology related sub-reddits and I continue to patronize positive psychology spaces of Quora. I think computers are a blessing to mankind- in my spare time, I write code to automate boring mundane computer tasks so that I can beget more spare time.
Presently, I work as a System and Validation Engineer at the Singapore office of Silicon Labs. My role entails developing characterization software for Silicon Labs 32bit and 8bit microcontrollers over process, voltage and temperature variations and then drawing inferences from the resultant data using data analysis and statistics. I am comfortable developing firmware, automation scripts and debugging software and hardware issues. Over the last decade, I have interned with Indian Institute of Technology, Madras on their in-house RISC-V micoprocessors ISS, developed firmware for an automated driveline control product in the automotive industry at WABCO, pursued a Masters degree in Embedded Systems, apart from my current role at Silicon Labs. I have gained proficiency in various programming languages- C, C++, C# and Python. I have worked on bare-metal development as well as several embedded operating systems- AUTOSAR, FreeRTOS, MicroC.
I believe that mindfully developed technology and thorough policy will eventually save the world from the the errors of human ways. Thus, I see myself eventually working in an intersection of sustainability and technology.
