Summary
I’ve been with Great Eastern since I was a year 4 student. It is my belief that in order for one to be excellent in his/ her career, having a mentor who can bring out the best part of you is the most crucial part of our starting years. I’ve seen many potential people come and go, and most of them leave because of a lack of direction. That being said, with the right profiling and communication instead of a cookie cutter approach, I believe that everyone’s potential can be brought out.

Since my schooling days, I tried multiple internships and part time jobs to understand myself a little better in hopes of being in the right career. Now that I’ve been in my current job for the past 5 years, I’ve also stepped into managing a young team of 7 all ranging in the age of 20-30s. I find passion and joy in mentoring and grooming, and hence when I heard the opportunity from a friend, I decided to jump at it and give back to my alma mater.
