About the Mentor:
I am the Production Planning Engineer at integrated property group Soilbuild’s Integrated Construction and Prefabrication Hub (ICPH) and responsible for managing the ICPH’s integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system that drive various automation processes and integration and development of emerging cutting-edge technologies to boost precast production efficiency and productivity. Concurrently, I am involved in other facets of the industry such as research and development initiatives in advanced Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) solutions and sustainable green materials, tender and project feasibility discussions, and strategic communications with industry partners, government agencies and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) through work collaborations and visitation programmes. Besides my full-time job, I am also currently an Adjust Lecturer at BCA Academy conducting lessons for students undertaking Specialist Diploma in DfMA and running programme for our IHL students under the Built Environment Formation Programme (BEFP) which includes participants from NTU. Last but not least, I am currently a Master in Engineering (MEng) student at NUS under the Industrial Postgraduate Programme (IPP) Scholarship. I was awarded the scholarship by Economics Development Board (EDB) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG), in collaboration with Soilbuild and NUS, to develop an advanced DfMA connection system for precast technology with a deep industrial focus.
