Q&A with Alviss Phua
If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same path for yourself? If not, what would you change?
Im a firm believer of living without regrets, and this means that each decision that I make is the best option at that point of time. There would definitely be somethings that I wish that I had started earlier in, and this is one main reason why I wanted to be a mentor, so that I can share what are these things and others will then have a better blueprint of what they could do better at this point of time in their life.

What did you do to make yourself marketable?
When I was starting my job hunt (which was in the first sem of my final year), I reached out to the Career and Attachment Office (CAO) and learnt a lot about resume writing, and what elements to highlight for which role. I have also improved on a few of these pointers and I believe that each role that youre applying for might require certain style of tweaks in your resume to achieve higher marketability. Due to this belief, I wasnt lazy and I had multiple versions of my resume for the different scope of jobs that I was applying for. That allowed me to be more marketable, and land interviews.
