Summary

I am Xu Chen. I graduated from the University of Hong Kong with majors in System Analysis and Computer Science (double major) and a minor in Finance, with First Class Honours. I am currently pursuing a masters degree in Data Science at Nanyang Technological University.

My interest and skills in data science was applied in the real-world problem when I worked as Macro Research Intern at Himension Capital, where I enhanced my data analysis skills with Python/Excel.

I have also gained hands-on experiences in quantitative trading. I used Backtrader to develop trading strategies and conduct backtesting. I have also participated in the International Quant Championship held by WorldQuant (ranked 729/34,143 in the Stage 1).

I love running. I have participated in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2023 (10km) and 2024 (half-marathon).
