Hey there, I’m Cyrus, an Electrical and Electronics Engineering Student at Nanyang Technological University. I love meeting and conversing with people from different walks of life, because I believe everyone has a story to tell or perspective to share, and that our unique life experiences are the ones that shape us into who we are today.

I have taken up a decent amount of extra-curricular activities throughout my formal education. Hence, I have gone from playing with drums of all forms, to trying to put a ball into a 10-foot high net, planning events meant for hundreds, and also being the main person hyping up a crowd. From my previous working experiences, I have learned how to calm people down when they are livid, and to craft solutions for potential roadblocks that my clients face in different industries.

Thus, I have utilized all these experiences to build on my soft skills tremendously. Communication to me is not only about both parties talking, but it is also about active listening and hearing out the nuances that are not mentioned explicitly. This explains the first line above, which resonates with my idea of great communication.

During my free time, I am an avid follower of all things Football, Basketball, plus Formula 1 and I am willing to go all-in to defend Jose Mourinho’s legacy.
