What are some personal projects or ideas you have worked on or are working on now?
I am currently working on a collaboration project in the field of NLP with a Prof of Criminology to help them identify patterns in homicides.
I used to run a podcast called Contemporary Story Discussion.

The key to managing work
1. Proper planning
2. A good team who have each others back.
3. Networking across department to know how the general business works.
4. Constant setting and updating of career goals and seeking a mentor to help you.

How do you attempt to overcome your lack of knowledge in particular areas?
I am extremely curious and believe in life-long learning. Technology is changing at such a drastic pace that the only way to keep-up is updating of ones skill. However, I also know it can be overwhelming in a world of super-information, the question is always where to get started. It important to network and reach out to people who can help. A growth mindset, a good network and consistent learning helps in someway to overcome the challenge.
