Q&A with Ging Yin Ang
What are some mistakes that you have made in your career? How did you deal with it and what have you learned from them?
I have made many career mistakes during the 1st 5 years of my career and it all stemmed from impatience, lack of resilience and naivety. On hindsight, I wished I had a mentor who is able to guide me in navigating my career. One key learning is it is ok to fail and start from scratch. It is ok to make career switches and nobody is going to judge you for it. Your path might be more winding but if you are willing to work hard, you will reach your destination.

What area are you most interested in regarding your current career?
I am keen to learn more about digital transformation and culture change within organizations. It will really be interesting to study about the types of capabilities, structure and culture an organization need to have in order be successful in transforming digitally.
