•Identified 97MM potential ad revenue opportunity for sponsored products on Amazon’s search. Collaborated with A9 (Amazon’s product search team), engineering and economist teams to validate the opportunity. Designed a product roadmap to allow advertisers to brand conquest by bidding for competitor’s brand keywords. Created a framework and drove adoption to manage various categories of irrelevant product ads shown to shoppers.

• Extracted data for over 35 million search queries and ad impressions generated daily on Amazon’s eCommerce platform using SQL. Published 10 statistical models and ran offline simulations using R to quantify the financial impact of irrelevant product ads

• Cofounded soCash (www.socash.io), a fintech startup that seeks to substitute conventional ATMs by providing an on-demand service via P2P or P2B channels for users to withdraw cash. soCash is the first startup to be backed by Singapore’s central bank (MAS).

•Designed 27 app prototypes for product integration across various financial institutions. Oversaw product design of the Sep’17 launch of the soCash API integration with Standard Chartered Bank Singapore’s mobile app

Regional Mobile Banking Product Manager Sep 2014 - Aug 2016

•Managed product development, digital solution design and delivery for consolidated mBanking app across regional markets with key emphasis on Singapore (SG), Hong Kong (HK) and Taiwan (TW)

•Initiated and oversaw 87 improvements for both iOS and Android in the consolidated mBanking App across regional markets. HK mBanking saw record customer satisfaction survey score improvements by 8% in 2015

•Enforced strategic alignment and best practices for the DBS mBanking App in SG, HK, TW and suite of more than 20 DBS apps.

•Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction having organized feedback loops via logout surveys

•Pre-login and notifications product manager and established business process, leveraging on push notifications to drive cross selling of banking products via mobile to more than 500K customers for various campaigns

•Supported Service Excellence Team for cash transactions reporting for DBS fleet of 1,400 ATM and Cash Acceptance Machines network to ensure they are appropriately forecast for optimum cash levels

•Performed service levels computation, and validation of machine replenishment timeliness for over 14,000 trips monthly

•Implemented proper billing process for vendors to allocate billing for ad hoc trips as a result of machine/vendor related faults, saving the bank up to SGD 80,000 monthly

Operations Improvement Program, Consumer Banking Operations

•Facilitator to process improvement (PI) events using PI methodologies, driving collaboration with business and operations, and ran 23 process improvement projects

•Tracked benefits for events and drove implementation items post process improvement events which led to process savings of up to 10 full time effort saves and dollar saves of SGD 109K per annum in 2013

•Most notable achievement saw business case approval in January 2014 to suppress POSB passbook consolidated statement sending to customers, which saved the bank SGD 2 million per annum and this project has gone live with effect April 2014

•Instructor of Red Belt, a customer centric business improvement methodology customized for DBS and taught 150 out of 600 operational staff throughout my tenure

•Assisted with DBS Management System Implementation for operations, and launched several tools which measures productivity, utilization, efficiency with added focus on demand forecasting to facilitate operations management using SAS
