Summary
My interest for design at a young age set me into exploring the Built Environment industry with Architecture as my first foray. After learning about my strengths in technical and computational understanding, I shifted my focus onto Civil Engineering to exploit this while value adding to my background in the industry. With this, I hope to bring a unique perspective to my work and to the industry in the future.
I always cherish opportunities to learn and improve myself, and try to make the most out of every scenario. I also appreciate a variety of topics outside of my own academic fields, stemming from my experiences and interests. This includes learning about 3D modelling from my experiences utilizing drafting software and picking up video editing as a hobby from minor school assignments.

When I was working at Singapore Polytechnic (Mar 2017 - Apr 2020), I demonstrated the Fabrication skill when I was tasked to do a 5m long parametric bench as a centerpiece for the graduation show. To tackle this challenge, I proactively took charge of the fabrication progress as the Head of Fabrication. As a result, I managed to complete the production and assembly of the bench timely.
