Summary
I am a finance professional with over 3 years of experience, having graduated from NBS in 2015. My aspiration as a mentor is to help provide career and industry advice to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Banking and Finance industry. As a student, I was fortunate to have met industry mentors that had provided me insights into the industry. I had found these sessions invaluable in helping me discover my career interest, and I hope to be able to pass my experience forward to current students. If you are interested to find out more about Banking and Finance, please feel free to drop me a note and I will do my best to respond to you.

Q&A with Joel Lock
If you could go back to school, what is one thing that you would do differently?
Talk to more of my seminar mates and make more friends! The seminar group style of teaching is a great opportunity to meet so many people in school, yet we seldom talk to classmates out of our group or table. University is the best place to start building your network, and I cannot emphasize how incredibly important it is after graduation. Whether its for getting a job, buying a house, planning a wedding - theres always someone who knows someone that can help you.
