How do you attempt to overcome your lack of knowledge in particular areas?
Back when I was a consultant in ThoughtWorks, it is a norm to be exposed to new area of various industries from financial services, retails to public services. There are two most efficient ways for myself to overcome lack of knowledge in any new areas:
Desk research: There are tons of information online/offline available nowadays, like industry report, annual report of a public company or even social media posts by industrial leaders. Its one of the most efficient ways to acquire new knowledge in a particular area.
Meet with subject expert: Connecting and talking to subject expert allow you to deep dive into a particular industry and acquire insights that is not made public. But do remember to have adequate research on the industry before your meet up.

If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same path for yourself? If not, what would you change?
Definitely yes.
I spent early years of my career exploring different positions and opportunities: starting from Software Engineer and Quality Assurance Engineer, to Business Analyst and eventually become a Product Manager.
Thanks to my friends, colleagues and leaders for the support and advice from exploring various career options, setting up action plans, to persuing new career opportunities.

What do you like most about your work?
A dream job would consist of two basic elements: Work on challenging things that excite you; Work with excellent people and leaders that inspire you.
Fortunately I had both in my current job with Grab.
