Being enterprising since young, I made enough profit for our hostels snack store as its Treasurer, to bring hostelites for a free enjoyable 4-hour drive to Orange county overnight farm stay.

NTU SingaporeI am always intrigued with the need for new knowledge this course offered at that time and never looked back to be one of the first few to take up this new NTU degree.
I congratulate all my alumni peers I know who chose this NTU course with various specializations and reaped the benefits of being the frontrunners in new knowledge, as they overall did exceptionally well in their respective careers to date.

What to equip yourself with when starting a career or job?
1. Hardwork - Bosses are the most hardworking - He/She leads by example
2. Strong knowledge in not just your field but at least 3 more, the more the merrier - be it a hobby or general knowledge, so that your supervisor can trust your views with your indepth understanding in other fields. Remember, business knowledge cannot be found in textbooks as it is full of variables and combination of many knowledge to make it right.
3. Be humble always and keep learning a lifelong aim. Once you stop learning, you stop growing in your career.

Give an example of a recent industry development that captured your attention, and what insight or thoughts you have about it.
The fast development pace in EV (Electric Vehicles) worldwide and worldwide governments positive stand in this industry. Does it mean the crude oil industry is facing a downturn and its impact on employees and impact for Singapore to lose a big industry in our economy?
What opportunities our graduates can tap on with this new wave of technology and industry?

High barrier to entry into China market (from documentation to implementation)

What do you like least about your work?
If you choose a job you do not like, you are wasting not only your time but your employers too.
It may not be a well-paid job but it must be something you like and learn from. as that is your motivation to report to work every day.
Most startup bosses do not collect salary during difficult times but passion drives them to where they are.
Every work we take up will teach us something for sure.
