Summary
Currently an edu-preneur, I have 7 years of work experience as a school teacher upon graduating from NTU, where I was promoted to a Subject Head first, before a School Staff Developer (i.e. a Learning Development Manager). I find joy in helping others find meaning in their work life and set a career path for themselves. I hope to inspire others in their pursuit of finding meaningful work and putting their best foot forward in the jobs given to them.

- Work with department heads and guide them on the kind of training available for sign up for the year in their core and functional competencies.
- Plan the Annual Staff Learning Day with appropriate themes after discussion with School Leaders (SLs). Compile, proofread and edit all the reports.
- Plan the Annual Key Personnel retreat and Staff Retreat in collaboration with SLs.
- Assist teaching and non-teaching staff with matters pertaining to the LMS platform, OPAL2.0, as System Administrator.
- Purchase relevant books for staff development using staff training funds and monitor usage of books by staff at the staff library.
- Work with teacher leaders to drive the Singapore Teaching Practice for staff
- Conduct surveys pertaining to staff matters such as the annual Preference Survey and Feedback Forms for programmes as and when necessary

- Oversee the annual Staff Recognition and Rewards.
- Work with Staff WellBeing Committee members to monitor the general well being of the staff, and conduct the termly Staff Dialogue sessions.
- Mentor and guide Beginning Teachers in their role.
- Conduct or arrange workshops and training sessions for all staff on key learning areas.
- Monitor the use of staff training funds regularly to ensure that they are use with prudence.
- Prepare customized validation (CV) reports which includes tidying documents, folders, and files necessary for assessment of staff development in resource planning, staff learning and development and staff welfare.
