Q&A with Peiqi Yeo
How do you attempt to overcome your lack of knowledge in particular areas?
Reading. Lets not dive into the TikTok videos vs books debate (Im firmly on the side of books). Short videos and online articles are helpful to get you exposure to the topic but its actually more efficient to read a book written by expert in the field, distilled from a lifetime of experience.

Empathy: the ability to step into someone elses shoes. While technical skills are important, Id say the most crucial skill in workplace is empathy which drives genuine and effective communication.

What area are you most interested in regarding your current career?
One of the most captivating advancements in environmental services is the global attention and recognition given to climate change and pollution. This was quite different during my university years. Im interested to play a role in this transformation and contribute to shaping our future for the better.
