In my current role as Head of Equities (Southeast Asia) at HSBC Global Private Banking Wealth, I am responsible for leading the Equities proposition across advisory execution and across the client continuum for our Global Private Banking Wealth business.
Prior to joining HSBC Global Private Banking Wealth in Dec 2019, I held the position of Director at HSBC Global Research and Regional Head of Asia-Pacific REITs and ASEAN property and prior to joining HSBC in 2010, I held the position of Vice President (Corporate Investments Group) at GIC Real Estate, where I was responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities in listed and unlisted developers and REITs across Asia (including Japan and Australia). Prior to joining GIC Real Estate in 2006, I was an equity analyst with DBS Vickers Securities and UOB Kay Hian Research in Singapore where I covered Singapore real estate equities. In my prior roles, alongside advising institutional clients globally on property markets and property stocks, I have advised business owners and senior management of property companies and REITs on their business models and corporate strategy. I have been consistently ranked as one of the top property analysts in Singapore and across Asia ex-Japan in the Asiamoney Brokers Poll, over the past several years. I received my degree in Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours (Computer Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University and am also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of CFA Singapore.
