I am Rachmiel, a second year Computer Science and Economics (Double Degree) student from NTU and a part-time ICT Executive in Grace Orchard School (GOS). I am an aspiring data scientist, particularly hoping to work in quantitative finance.
My technical skills in Coding include programming in Python, Java, Javascript, C++, C, as well as databases like Postgres, SQLite and Elasticsearch. I am also familiar with REST APIs and the Linux CLI. I often deploy my projects through Git, Docker, and hosted Cloud VMs. I am also drawn towards financial economics, understanding the fundamentals of many financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, forex, commodities, as well as other derivatives such as options and futures.

When I was working at Grace Orchard School (May 2023 - Present), I demonstrated the Web Development skill when I was in charge of tracking devices that were loaned out of the ICT department. To improve the situation, I proactively coded a full stack web application to track the movement of devices. As a result, I managed to improve efficiency by providing granular information of each device and user history and eliminate the use of manual log books.

When I was working at Grace Orchard School (May 2023 - Present), I demonstrated the Software Engineering skill when I was in charge of collating staff on leave everyday. To tackle this challenge, I proactively coded a Whatsapp using Twilio API. As a result, I managed to improve efficiency so that superiors can easily know which of their staff are on leave.
