What sacrifices have you had to make to succeed in this field, and do you feel the sacrifices were worth it?
I had to sacrifice my family life a lot, due to my daughters education and a lot of international travel. The sacrifices were totally worth it as I would not have gained a broad based international perspective if I had not taken those international opportunities

Give an example of a recent industry development that captured your attention, and what insight or thoughts you have about it.
The recent development of Digital Transformation, i.e. to leverage digital technologies to delight customers fascinates me. My insight is that the transformation is much more cultural in nature than technical

Have you considered going into other fields? What other fields do you think you are well-suited for and why?
I have explored multiple fields in my career. I am fine with any field where I can pivot around a body of knowledge and help leaders to solve critical problems facing their organizations

What are some examples that illustrate how you have generated ideas that represent thinking 'outside the box'?
I am an author of the book where I have called out the need for organizations to be modelled as Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS)m and not be treated as mechanistic systems

What achievements in your career are you most proud of?
I have reinvented my career 5 times in my 31 year career. I am proud of consistently adding value to my clients and extermal stakeholdes, to my company and my colleageus and to myself
