I was awarded a full scholarship to study at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and chosen as 1 out of 10% cohort to join the multidisciplinary University Scholars Programme (USP). I have greatly developed my critical thinking and writing skills through various out of classroom opportunities and international exploration with USP.

I have been working as a Special Reporter for the largest Chinese newspaper in Singapore, Lian He Zao Bao, since 2010. During the career, I have interviewed more than 50 personals from government ministers to NGOs, and also published over 100 pieces across columns.

Since then, I have volunteered for various organisations such as Business China and NUS as a Reporter. I have received several writing awards including the Singapore Tertiary Chinese Literature Awards (STCLA) and Contact Singapore Blog Awards.

Upon graduation, I joined one of the leading enrichment centers in Singapore, The Learning Lab (TLL) as a Management Trainee. I spearheaded several key projects of the company, including a operation efficiency project which has improved the overall manpower utilisation rate by 50%, the opening of TLLs first west branch in Bukit Batok, and the launching of The Chinese Lab.

In 2016, I started a new chapter with a Master in Science Communications, a degree jointly held by NUS and the Australian National University. I received extensive training on transforming jargon language in science and technical fields into effective messages for common audience. I have successfully held several events to deliver science knowledge creatively and effectively to the general public.

I am now working as the Digital Engagement Lead for Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, leading social, integrated content and digital enablement for the company. Prior to my current appointment, I worked as the Regional Marketing PR Manager for why innovation! a professional digital transformation consultancy, and headed in digital marketing and communications strategies for Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
