I am an intrinsic motivated person who is driven in not the rewards but in what I can do to make a difference for others - I believe in creating a positive impact for the society through advocation and activism through different fields of causes such as Special Needs, Low income and the mental health. This had led me to being awarded volunteer of the month twice in a row at IMH for the Achievers in IMH. Last year I was being made a community ambassador for the purple parade. What are your strongest skills that have contributed to your success in this field?
Events management, having started out as a mere roadshow volunteer for ACRES - to now managing large scale events. I believe everyone started out as a nobody but this comes with hard work and late nights - when everyone is out partying I am burning the nights away carrying heavy equipment on trolleys to store properly.

What are some mistakes that you have made in your career? How did you deal with it and what have you learned from them?
Wrong choices in choosing events whereby I dont fit in - when I was in the organising committee for tedx youth for 6 months - the environment wasnt the right place for me but I decided to still stick it out - and took a risk in pitching for the youngchangemakers grant under NYC. It taught me that not everyone will agree with what you do but you just have to stick to your values and stay true to yourself even if it means leaving something that meant the world to you. I believe that we cant choose who we want to work with but we can adopt a mindset of resilient to overcome the negativity.
