When I was working at Building and Construction Authority (Mar 2015 - Feb 2018), I demonstrated the Vendor Management skill when I was responsible for developing a HR guidebook for the Built Environment sector. To tackle this challenge, I proactively worked with the engaged vendor to reach out to construction firms of all types and sizes. As a result, I managed to complete the project and launched the guidebook successfully.

When I was working at Science Centre Singapore (Aug 2004 - Feb 2015), I demonstrated the Event Management skill when I was in charge of Singapore Science Festival . To take initiative, I proactively reached out to partners to create innovative events for students, public and families. What do you do to keep your skills fresh or keep yourself updated in your field?
- Read news, attend industry events regularly to be kept current with trends and upcoming developments;
- Talk with others of different backgrounds and industry to exchange ideas and gain insights;

If you were a college student again, what would you do differently to prepare you for your field?
I would try as much as possible! University is a great time to try out new activities and learn more about yourself
