What achievements in your career are you most proud of?
My commitment towards being a mentor has given me a reputation of being generous with the sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience even to co-workers whom I have no direct responsibility for. In our matrix organisation, I had the privilege to work with every single member of the marketing team and I am pleased to have motivated 7 co-workers through informal mentorship to complete their tasks or achieve their goals in the past 2 years. It warms my heart to be able to contribute to the entire marketing team in this unique way and I hope to empower more individuals to achieve more than they expect.

What is the next career goal that you are planning for?
I am constantly looking for new challenges and I believe that the MBA programme will prepare me to take on complex business problems at the management level. It will equip me with advanced and flexible management skills in addition to a range of transferable business skills, as I explore possibilities in the luxury goods industry next.

What kind of education or training did you find most useful in your field?
I believe a new-age marketer needs to have an in-depth understanding of the entire business ecosystem so as to provide a truly seamless customer experience at every touch point. I constantly look for case studies from different sectors to gain inspiration and knowledge for application in my sector. Being inquisitive is an important trait for a marketer - we can no longer depend solely on business intelligence for future projection; marketers are expected to have a keen eye for explorative approaches to hypothesize the upcoming trend and market demand.
