Summary
A Diploma in Medicinal Chemistry graduate, and currently an undergraduate in NTU CHEM. I am an aspiring chemist, and am particularly interested in quality assurance/quality control and product formulation and development.
My experiences in Medicinal Chemistry and in CHEM, as well as my internship at DSM Nutritional Products, has provided me with the relevant skills vital to the chemical industry. With technical skills such as UV-VIS and column chromatography, and soft skills such as having good emotional intelligence, I believe I will be a valuable asset in the field.
Additionally, my role as the vice-captain of the Squash team in NYP, my participation in various group projects, and various part-time jobs have taught me to be a good team-player and have equipped me with the necessary interpersonal and adaptability skills.

My passion and experience in Squash has allowed me to not only keep myself fit, but also expose me to people from different courses and backgrounds. By regularly playing against the members, and teaching my juniors, I was able to get out of my comfort zone and interact with people I was unfamiliar with. Additionally, by being a part of the shirt design team, and ultimately rising to the role of a vice-captain, I was able to discover and develop my leadership skills. Compared to before I joined the CCA, I am more proactive and outgoing now.
My experience in the SCL Club Annual Recruitment Drive (2019), as well as in Open House (2020), has also played a part in developing my confidence, as I had to put away my shy personality and interact with new people.
My team also won the best pitch for our sustainability project, where we created a foot scrub from various repurposed food waste.
