Q&A with Mavis Ng
Describe a time when you demonstrated leadership skills.
I groomed and molded college interns who thought they were not cut for sales. And they managed to sell more (3 clients appointments a day) than what they have expected (1 appointment a day)
Now I am managing a remote IT team. And its about trusting instead of micro-manage, its about constantly check in on their morale and well-being, be empathetic to their challenges. Actively listen to their challenges and how I can help them to overcome it by talk through, brainstorm together.
I want them to lead in their own right.
