Q&A with Victor Neo
What excites you about the industry you are in?
The Tech and Startup industry has greatly grown in the past 5-10 years, and Computer Science has gone from one of the least interesting courses to top courses in NTU itself.
There are a lot of exciting new developments everyday, and yet at the same time new challenges with how tech is affecting people. Its an interesting time to be in the industry, even if we struggle ourselves with what that means for us as Software Engineers.

What achievements in your career are you most proud of?
Growing with a team of 3 founders + 2 Software Engineers at Carousell to where Carousell Group is today, with close to 100 software engineers in our team.
This took a lot of learning, unlearning, and relearning of concepts from Software Development and Engineering Management for me to be constantly relevant.
