How do you attempt to overcome your lack of knowledge in particular areas?
We are living in a period where knowledge and information hardly remain stagnant, so we must habitually be reading and learning, whether through formal learning and development programmes in a structured environment, or informally through self-directed activities. Also, dont be afraid of asking questions - theres so much to be gathered from other peoples knowledge and experiences.

What excites you about the industry you are in?
I am in a privileged position to be able to impact, directly and tangibly, younger generations of Singaporeans, amongst whom are our future leaders. Lecturing requires tremendous emotional labour, but nonetheless it is extremely exciting and rewarding to witness my students development, from wide-eyed adolescents into confident, courageous and creative go-getters who are ready to conquer the whole world.
