When I was working at Singapore General Hospital (Jan 2022 - Mar 2022), I demonstrated the Attention to Detail skill when I was responsible for picking medication for the patients. To take initiative, I proactively took extra care to get familiar with the common medications and the medications that had to be handled with care. As a result, I managed to improve efficiency when I had long lists of medications to go through per patient to avoid wrong medications.

When I was working at Singapore General Hospital (Jan 2022 - Mar 2022), I demonstrated the Interpersonal Skill when I was responsible for picking up phone calls to help the patients make an order. Most of the patients who called in were elderly that only spoke Chinese. To tackle the language barrier, I learnt the medication names and medical health issues in Chinese to properly communicate with them. As a result, it was much easier to converse with them without them getting frustrated and having miscommunication.
